The 400 Express Cruiser (EC) was the long-awaited replacement for Sea Ray's hugely popular 390 EC. With her stylish windshield, integral swim platform, and sleek hull profile, the 400 EC is truly a handsome boat and a big step up from her predecessor in appearance. A sliding wall partition opens the guest cabin's convertible settee to the salon for additional seating during the day - a practical design feature. Outside, the cockpit is fitted with an elevated helm, wet bar, and plenty of guest seating.
ACCOMMODATIONS
This Sea-Ray 400 Express is a modern family express cruiser with traditional lines and a very spacious interior layout. It is built on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull with 19 degree deadrise, with prop pockets and a relatively wide beam. The interior layout of this vessel has a salon with a convertible dinette, a large galley, full guest stateroom with twin berths, owners stateroom forward with island berth, and a stall showers in the head. It is a nicely appointed vessel with a roomy cockpit, swim platform, good cabin headroom, a reasonably spacious engine room with good access to the systems, and aft dumping exhausts. The standard 350hp Caterpillar diesels will cruise around 25 knots and reach a top speed of over 28 knots.
This particular vessel has engines with average indicated hours and has received an above average amount of TLC. The electronics and navigation equipment package is adequate, and optional equipment includes a central vacuum, generator and two reverse cycle air conditioning systems and windlass.
