"WHY YOU WANT TO BUY FRESHWATER YACHT!!!" Three factors cause majority of wear and tear on boats. Saltwater, sun and usage. Inland boats sit in freshwater, not corrosive saltwater. Freshwater boats have less sun fade. Most southern boats sit in water year round. Freshwater boats located inland get used 3-4 months, get pulled and stored. They have least amount of exposure to harsh elements. If you want a nice boat, then buy it in Northern part of country!
