1996 Pursuit 3000 Offshore

Mechanical Equipment:
The 3126 Cat engines provide plenty of power for the Pursuit 3000 Offshore. Repowered in 2005 these engines provide the optimum ride in this boat. There is easy access to the engines and generator thru the mechanical lift to the engine which lifts the entire console. And in the back cockpit there are hatches for easy access to the rudders, fuel pumps and steering gears. With the Rebuilt Cat 3126 engines are new Tachometers, Fuel Gauge, Temperature Gauge and Volt Gauge. There's good access to batteries, strainers, filters and other mechanics. Shafts have lip seals, there are full size bronze strainers and Racor filters standard. Sitting at the aft end of the engine compartment is a Northern Lights 5.0Kw gen set that after five years will need some attention. Galley:
This is a simple and nicely designed salon with sleeping arraingements for four, along with a simple galley & head. The stateroom / salon / galley is well lighted with three hatches to the front deck. To the starboard, is a bench couch with nice table, which can be removed and turned into two bunk berths. Forward is a simple berth which will accommodate two. Portside is the galley with a large countertop, Norcold refrigerator, stainless steel sink, single burner stove and Goldstar microwave. At the rear on the port is the head with shower & wash sink. Back of the salon area is a nice tall storage cabinet setup as a rod locker. The electrical panel is easy accessible in the salon. Plenty of storage for safety gear, rods and tackle round out the Salon of the Pursuit 3000. Electrical System:
This vessel has five batteries, shore power option, plenty of outlets. In the salon, there is a full easy access panel for switch access. The AC Unit in the Salon works great. Northern Lights generator will need maintenance work. Marine Systems AC Unit 7000 BTU less than one year old.
