Accomodations:
Starting from aft there is a three step stainless steel boarding ladder leading up to the built in swim platform. This aft platform is large enough to handle the stern lines or just sit down and dip you feet in the water. Going forward through the transom door you notice the very large L-shaped settee to port with the wet bar located just ahead of that. At the front of the large cockpit is an aft facing lounge seat. The upholstery was redone in 2005 and looks exceptional. An EPIRB is mounted next to the wet bar for those that want to venture far offshore. Just ahead of the wet bar and parallel to the lounge seat is an icemaker hidden behind a white Plexiglas door. A storage locker is forward of the icemaker. The cockpit is designed for entertaining and is large enough for seven of your closest friends and you to relax and enjoy the sun. Stepping up and to starboard you find a triple wide helm seat and a fully equipped helm. This Martinique has autopilot, radar, chart plotter, and VHF all placed close at hand so the captain can easily maintain control. The helm seating is comfortable and high enough to allow for good sightlines all around. Going forward and stepping down into the salon you notice the lack of bulkheads. This creates an open cabin and makes it seem like a much larger boat. To port there is an electrical panel as well as the galley. The galley is fully equipped to keep the crew happy and is placed close to the salon so the cook is in on the fun. There is an island bar that protrudes into the salon but it doesn't impair with the flow of the cabin. Aft of the galley area is a mid cabin area with a large l-shaped lounge that converts to a double berth. Just ahead and to the starboard of the mid cabin is the nicely appointed head. The head has a separate shower compartment with a smoked Plexiglas door. Forward of the head is a dinette for six people. The dinette also converts to a double berth. You could easily sleep six people on this boat. To port of the dinette and forward of the galley is a love seat sized settee and lots of cabinets. There is a TV and a VCR as well as AM/FM Cassette with a 10 disc CD changer in two of the cabinets. You won't want for entertainment on this boat. Going forward again you find the master berth. To port is a hanging locker and a dresser. The berth is to starboard and is raised a little to allow for storage. Storage abounds on this boat. It is conceivable for a family of four or five to make a week's journey and be more than satisfied with this cruiser's amenities and storage capacity. A Mermaid 16,000 BTU air conditioner keeps the cabin cool even on those hot Florida days. This vessel is ready to take you and yours out to enjoy the weekend or a week. All she needs is her new captain to show her the way.
