The Silverton 312 Sedan Cruiser is constructed of solid fiberglass with rakish lines and a low profile giving her a rather sporty personality. Below decks, the 312 sleeps six – no small feat for a 30-footer: two in the forward stateroom, two in the curtained-off open area opposite the head with upper and lower bunks, and two more when the salon dinette is converted into a double berth. A sliding glass door opens to the cockpit where a transom door is standard and a series of molded steps to port lead up to the flybridge. Fender racks are built into the swim platform and L shaped lounge seating on the bridge will seat four. Interestingly, the flybridge wasn’t an add-on, but part of the deck mold, a cost-effective construction technique that also eliminates the possibility of water leaks.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Step aboard the Silverton 312 by way of the swim platform, and then find the one molded step to port leading to the cockpit. Open the sliding glass door to the cabin and step down two steps to the cabin sole. You will quickly notice the cabin has 360 degrees of windows making the vessel very bright and airy on her inside. To starboard you will find storage lockers in the starboard wall with a narrow countertop above. To port is the large dinette with seating for four adults which converts to sleep two. Centerline and down two steps, going forward, puts you at the starboard galley. Forward from the galley is the head with vanity sink, shower stall and Par manual head. Port of the galley / head is the guest cabin with over & under berths which convert to seating. Forward again to the main cabin which features an offset double berth, hanging locker and adjoining head. Back in the cockpit it is up the port side molded steps to the spacious flybridge with centerline helm.
GALLEY
The down galley is spacious and well equipped with
