Vessel Walkthrough
Tecnomarine has long been regarded as one of the foremost shipyards in Italy and has been a trendsetter since the shipyards founding in 1972 by the Pichiotti Family. During the 30 plus years since its founding, Tecnomarine has built more than 300 yachts from 42' to 120'. In the mid to late 1980's Tecnomarine was at the forefront of the shipbuilding industry with its "Cobra" line of express cruisers, being some of the first to use the Arneson Drive System which was to become the industry standard for high performance luxury sportyachts. The Motoryachts built by Tecnomarine at the time, (of which "Voyager" is a prime example), continued to use the more conventional straight shaft drive with Twin Disc transmissions and Detroit Diesel Engines. All of the yachts built by Tecnomarine were built to class, such as Bureau Veritas, RINA, or ABS. "Voyager" as built to American Bureau of Shipping, (ABS), A-1 Yachting Class/AMS. This yacht is built like a "small ship" with damage control pumping hard plumbed into each compartment, on deck firefighting stations as well as automatic fire supression systems in the machinery spaces, and other features designed to make the yacht both safe and seaworthy. "Voyager" was hull number four of the T-58 design and built originally for an American client and construction was overseen by his US representative. "Voyager" has always been maintained to highest yacht standards and continuously upgraded. A unique vessel on the American waterways, this yacht has styling that compares favorably to the latest designs from Azimut, Sunseeker, Riva, Neptunus, or Fairline, and still features greater interior volume than the more recent models. Additionally "Voyager" features safe, wide walk around side decks with raised bulwarks and substantial stainless steel railings, easy steps up to the side decks from the aft deck, and a Euro transom with steps down both port and starboard sides to the large swim platform.
The Aft deck has plenty of room for al fresco dining and is protected by a large overhang from the flybridge. The flybridge features a half tower with full eisenglass enclosure, ample seating, gas grill, refrigerator, and storage lockers. The boat deck aft on the flybridge has an electric davit which deploys the Rigid Bottom Inflatable Tender. The flybridge is accessed from either the lower helm up gradual stairs to a sliding glass door or from the aft deck up a ladder. The interior of the vessel is finished in cherry and burl woods with a three stateroom layout, each with ensuite baths. On the main deck is a comfotable saloon with entertainment center, a galley with all the best appliances and opposite the galley is a formal dining area. All the way froward on the main deck is the lower helm and Navigation station. The crews quarters is accessed from the bow.
