DESCRIPTION

Introduced during mid 1989, the Silverton 46 Motor Yacht was the largest production hull Silverton had built to date. She's a good-looking boat with modern lines and a rakish profile, and her affordable price during 1993 made the 46 MY a lot of boat for the money. The hull is a modified deep-V design with a wide beam, a solid fiberglass bottom, and foam-cored hullsides. Inside, the light oak interior is arranged with the salon wide open to the galley and dinette forward. Both staterooms are fitted with double berths, and both heads have separate stall showers. The aft deck is very comfortable and there is plenty of guest seating on the bridge. Additional features include foredeck seating, washer/dryer, aft deck hard top with arch, and a bath tub in the owner's head. This 46 MY is also fitted with the larger 6V92 Detroit Diesel Engines

ACCOMMODATIONS

The Silverton 46' Aft Cabin Motor Yacht is a vessel much more spacious than most others of her size. Starting all the way forward you find the guest V-stateroom with a large center berth with cupboards and drawers for storage of personal gear. Coming back you will find a side cabin on the port side with upper and lower berth. Across the companion way from the side cabin is the guest head with full sized shower and VacuFlush head. Aft of the head is the locker with the full sized stacked washer dryer. Continuing aft is a large dinette to starboard and full galley to port, with every available amenity available. Up two steps to the full width salon with large L shape settee and barrel chair, sound system and of course a color TV. Down and aft on the starboard side of the salon is the master stateroom which has a walk around double berth, large hanging lockers, drawers for storage of personal gear and a dressing table for the lady. On the port side of the Owners Stateroom is the owners head with vanity, VacuFlush head, tub and shower. Back to the salon it's up three steps to the fully enclosed aft deck with custom seating, bar area and sink. The fly bridge on this boat is also fully enclosed with plenty of seating and visibility.

GALLEY

The galley is located down on the port side yet not out of the action. There is a generous dinette opposite that makes an ideal breakfast dining nook. The dinette serves as a great desk area also. Plenty of cupboard and drawer storage for extended cruising.
