1991 CARVER 28 Aft Cabin, Introduced in 1991 as the Carver 28 Aft Cabin, this boat went through several name changes in subsequent years. From 1994-95 she was called the 300 Aft Cabin; in 1996, when an integral swim platform was added to the hull, she became the 325 Aft Cabin; finally, in 1996 she became the 326 Aft Cabin. The 28 Aft Cabin is built on a very beamy hull to get as much interior volume below as possible. The wraparound cabin windows make the salon seem larger than it actually is. Lacking its own head, the aft cabin is thoughtfully fitted with a sink and vanity. Outside, the aft deck is large enough for a couple of deck chairs and there s seating for three on the flybridge.

Accomodations:
From the swim deck itâ¿¿s up the ladder to the aft deck. Slide the glass door to the salon open and step down into the salon area. The port side of the cabin has a combination couch, then centerline and down to the galley / head area. The L shaped galley is to port with the head on the starboard. Head area has a Raritan manual head, wet shower and countertop with stainless steel sink. Forward from the galley area to the V-dinette which drops for V-berth sleeping. Back to the cabin it is down three steps centerline to the aft stateroom. The aft stateroom has a double bed on the port side, single on the starboard side and a vanity to the stern between the two beds. From the aft deck itâ¿¿s up three steps to the flybridge with starboard side helm. Helm has all instrumentation with additional seating for two, three total.

Galley:
Port side L shaped galley has the under counter Norcold dual voltage refrigerator / freezer on the small part of the L (aft). Over the refrigerator area is a built in Sharp microwave. Along the larger part of the L shape is the stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water, then forward to the two burner electric / alcohol stove. Carver has installed lots of cupboards and drawers for galley storage.
