DESCRIPTION-
The 340 Express Cruiser proved to be one of Sea Ray's most popular models. She was built on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull with a relatively wide beam, a well-flared entry, and prop pockets to reduce the shaft angle. Aimed at the family sport-boat market, she benefited from several updated during her production years of 1984 - 89. Standard features include a swim platform; transom door, side exhaust and sliding cabin windows.
ACCOMMODATIONS-
The cockpit is fairly large with snap in carpeting. A cockpit door on the port stern goes to the fiberglass swim deck, with bench seating across the remainder of the stern. The helm is to starboard with a large bench helm seat and same size companion bench seat to port. Between these two seats is engine access for daily maintenance. Port side of the helm, center, is the sliding hatch door to the cabin area. Down three steps to port will be the wet bar area with counter top and cupboard space. Forward to port will be the dinette, which drops down to form additional sleeping space. Going back to the cabin entry will be the head area on the starboard side with shower, vanity and VacuFlush head. Forward of the head is the U shaped galley. Forward from the galley is the centerline double berth. The berth has hanging lockers to port, and several large drawers under berth for storage. This vessel is also fitted with central vac.
GALLEY-
The U shaped galley has the sink on the left with hot and cold running water. Both sides of the sink have small counter top area. Center of the U galley is a built in electric stove with a built in microwave under the stove. To the right of the stove is the floor level dual voltage Norcold refrigerator/freezer. Over the refrigerator there is counter top. This counter top comes back around the U shape to the stove. Several drawers and cupboards under counter top at sink area and several other storage compartments over sink and refrigerator. One sliding cupboard door opens up to a built in coffee maker.
