Accomodations:
Master Stateroom
Accessed from the lower foyer, and at the foot of the stairs leading down from the main salon is the master stateroom. This cabin has a king sized bed, linen covered settee, built in nightstands, and walk-in cedar lined closet with drawers and a safe. A Sony television and Pioneer DVD player with surround sound is built in to starboard. The his and hers bath is on the port side of this cabin, and features a Jacuzzi, two head shower, dressing table with stool, bidet.
Guest Staterooms
Mirror images of each other, the port and starboard guest staterooms are accessed from the lower foyer. The only exception is that the port has a queen-sized bed, and the starboard has twin berths. Each has a nightstand, cedar lined hanging locker, and television/VCR, AM/FM/CD player, and air conditioning/heating controls. The ensuite heads have vanities, stall showers and linen closets.
Main Salon
The full beam main salon is entered from the cockpit, up four steps to the door on the aft port bulkhead. A large L-shaped sofa is to starboard, with adjoining end tables. A large chair with matching ottoman, and a coffee table complete this seating area. Opposite to port is a sunken wet bar with icemaker and with seating for three. A formal dining table for six is located at the forward end of the main salon. A new entertainment center is equipped with a 42" Sony plasma television, which rises from a granite countered cabinet, with satellite system and VCR, and DVD player with a five disc tray, and a new Sony 300 disc DVD/CD player. A new digital surround sound system has six B & W recessed speakers and two 18" Klipsh sub woofers. The video library provides storage for tapes, CD's and DVD's, and drawer and built in cabinets throughout the main salon allow storage of china, crystal, cutlery, serving items and linens, etc. Newly finished in marble, a day head is forward of the main salon in the starboard foyer. Access to the main deck is available from this foyer, and also from the foyer running up the port side.
Galley:
The country kitchen style galley is forward along the starboard foyer from the main salon. The U-shaped cooking area with a marble floor has a large counter dividing it from the seating area with a dinette for ten. Access to the crew accommodations is forward and down from the galley. Fly Bridge
The very large flybridge is accessed from the pilothouse, and provides a comfortable place for informal entertaining and dining. Features are triple helmseats, a large settee with table, and a wet bar with icemaker, refrigerator, and five bar stools. The life raft, two personal watercraft and the dinghy are also stored on this deck, and the equipment is raised and lowered with a Marquipt davit. 1988 Westship 98, Contact Mark Elliott at 305-794-1167 or mark@iyc.com DESTINY was built in the Westport yard in 1988, and has spacious, tastefully decorated, bright accommodations for six guests and five in crew. Staterooms are below deck amidships, accessed from the main salon, and crew quarters are forward, accessed from the galley. The main deck has a large country kitchen forward, with seating for up to ten guests, pilothouse access aft of the galley both port and starboard, and the large open main salon with dining area and bar to port in mid salon. The flybridge level features the covered steering station, bar and seating area, sun pad, table and storage for all water toys. All cabins have televisions, entertainment centers, individual air conditioning and heating controls and telephone/intercoms. Finish throughout is in neutral tones in fabrics and carpeting, marble and Corian, with pickled oak joinery, for an overall impression of light and spaciousness.
