1988 Nonsuch Ultra 30 30,This 30 footer was the first of the Nonsuch line of sailboats. It is one of the more unique models on the market and Nonsuch boats have gained widespread popularity in Canada and the US in the 1980s and 1990s. The design for the Nonsuch is a Canadian concept inspired by the American catboats. The Nonsuch line of boats were designed by Mark Ellis and built by Hinterhoeller well into the 1990s

Accomodations:
The Nonsuch 30 Ultra boasts an enormous main salon finished in rich varnished teak with teak and holly cabin sole. Its private forward cabin with hanging locker, chest of drawers, dressing station, head and separate shower is very special in a 30 foot boat. Moving aft the galley is on the port side along with a settee. The starboard side contains the head, vanity and separate shower. Continuing aft on the starboard side is a large dinette with a table that lowers to convert the settee to a full sized double berth. There are 3 berths in all. Aft of the dinette is another hanging locker. There is full standing headroom throughout and teak and holly floors.

Galley:
The L shaped Galley featuers white laminate countertops, Force 10-2 burner propane stove with oven and broiler, stainless steel sink, hot and cold pressure water, top loading refrigerated ice box, abundance of storage and ample counter space for meal preparation.

Electonics and Navigational Gear:
Ritchie binacle mount compass, Autohelm ST4000 autopilot, ST60 Tridata, ST60 Wind System, Interphase GPS, VHF radio, Stereo with speakers.

Electrical System:
(2) 12V batteries, 30amp shorepower with cord, Battery Charger, AC/DC circuit breaker panel, Battery selector switch.

Deck and Hull Equipment:
(3) Hatches and (7) Opening ports, (1) Dorade, Pedestal Wheel Steering, Large cockpit with wide sidedecks, Teak cabintop handrails, Transom mount swim ladder, Anchor windlass.

Sails and Rigging:
The Nonsuch 30 utilizes an anodized aluminum tapered un-stayed mast with wish- bone boom ( Cat Rig). Dacron Mainsail with battens and Lazy Jack flaking system. (2) Barient 22 and (1) Barient 15 Self tailing winches.
