Accomodations:
Sleeps a total of five: two in the V-BIRTH AREA; two on the double to starboard in the MASTER STATEROOM; one on the single berth to port in the MASTER STATEROOM. Each stateroom has a hanging locker and an ensuite HEAD COMPARTMENT with shower. The MASTER STATEROOM has access to the aft deck. The MAIN SALOON has an L-shaped settee with table to starboard, as well as a bar, ice maker (â¿¿03) and the lower helm station. Opposite to port are two chairs and an entertainment center. The GALLEY, straight in shape, is located in the forward port corner of the main saloon. Details of the galley appear in a following section. Air three-zone reverse-cycle air conditioning The boat has three fresh water tanks with a capacity for 300 gallons of fresh water located in the lazarette. The fresh water is pumped to the port side of the engine room to a fresh water heater and then to an accumulator tank and from there both hot and cold water is pumped to the fore and aft heads, the kitchen sink, the ice maker, a bib in the engine room, and a shower port and separate bib on the aft bulkhead. The hot water heater can also be heated by hot seawater coming from the port engine. This hot seawater circulates on the outside of the fresh water portion of the heater thereby heating the fresh water. The two toilets are electrically controlled. Each toilet has two trough hull ports-one to provide water for flushing and the other to empty the toilet to the outside. Due to regulations, the through hull port to empty the toilets are kept closed. The toilets are emptied by pumping their contents to a holding tank (20 gallons) located under the generator in the engine room. The contents of the holding tank are emptied by pumping them out with a macerator pump through a port on the starboard deck near the fuel fill port. This is done at a pump-out station in a marina. If you are out at sea (beyond the three mile mark) the holding tank can be pumped out through another hull port to the sea. The toilets are activated by a switch in each location and by a pedal on the bottom of the toilet.

Galley:
The pleasing teak galley is located adjacent to the saloon. Well lit and open, the galley is fully equipped including a microwave (â¿¿01) and Grunert refrigerator and freezer (â¿¿03). A three-burner electric stove with oven and a large sink with pressure hot and cold water are also present.

Ritchie compass, Depth sounder, Garmin 2010 GPS chart plotter (updated in (â¿¿04) , Furuno Radar, Standard VHF radio, Rudder angle indicator, RAM mic, Wind speed & wind direction, AM/FM Stereo, Hailer, Two TVs, Automatic recording barometer, KVH satellite receiver , Flat screen TV w/computer hookup on bridge.

Electrical System:
The AC electrical power is supplied by either the Onan 8KW generator or twin 50 amp shore power outlets. The boat has hookup points for electrical cables at the bow and stern of the boat. The DC system is powered by two 8D and one 4D battery dry cell batteries with Tri-battery charger. A 1200 watt inverter can also be used to convert some DC voltage to AC voltage

SELLER DESCRIPTION

1988 GRAND BANKS Classic, The Grand Banks 42 foot Classic Trawler was manufactured in Singapore by the Grand Banks Corporation. This trawler was manufactured in the 1988 with the hull number of 1027. The length overall (LOA) is 42 7 . The Beam is 13 7 and the draft is 4 2 . The Displacement is 34,000 lbs. The fresh water capacity is 300 gallons and the fuel capacity is 600 gallons. The height from the water line to the top of the mast is 22 6 . The AC voltage is 110 volts and the DC voltage is 12 volts. The Trawler is powered by two Cummins 210 HP diesel engines. It has an 8kw Onan diesel generator. The boat has a forward and aft cabin with a saloon in between. Each cabin has a full bath attached. There are three heating/air condition units, one in each cabin and one in the saloon. The kitchen is in the saloon with an electric stove, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and icemaker. The boat can be controlled from either the complete set of controls in the saloon or the complete set in the flying bridge. The engine room can be accessed through either the floor hatches in the saloon or through an entrance under the steps in the forward cabin. A Lazarette storage area is located on the aft deck. The decking throughout the exterior of the boat is teak. The interior finish is also teak. An entertainment center is located in the saloon with AM/FM radio, Television, and Disc player.
