Accomodations:
This boat has been totally updated throughout including new light fixtures, carpet, bedding, new custom mattresses, curtains, upholstery, and mini blinds. She will sleep 6, two in the master stateroom, two in the VIP stateroom, one on the pull-out sofa, and one on the dinette settee. The forward VIP stateroom has lots of storage which includes a full hanging closet, multiple storage drawers, a sink and a large mirrored medicine cabinet. This stateroom has a queen-size berth and a private entrance to the forward head. The master stateroom has a queen pedestal bed, lots of drawer storage, two hanging closets, a lighted mirror and make-up area and access to the master head. It is wired for TV and has an exterior connection for cable access, There is a Sony stereo reciever and a Kenwood CD player located in the salon with Pioneer speakers located in the salon and master stateroom.
Mechanical Equipment:
There are (3) Marine Air ac/heat units located in main salon, master stateroom and the VIP stateroom. There are 2 bilge blowers, 3 bilge pumps - both manual and automatic, a fuel cross-over system, 3 new Racor fuel filters on all 3 tanks, and raw water strainers on both engines and generator. There is also an automatic Fireboy 1301 halon system in the engine room.
Galley:
A full sized galley down to starboard and a full dinette that will seat 6 to portside. There is a new GE microwave, large refrigerator/freezer/icemaker, 3-burner Galley Maid stove with oven, and a double stainless sink. She has both hot and cold running water throughout the boat. There is a 12-gallon water heater and both street and pressure water is available from a 160-gallon tank located under the aft stateroom berth.
Electonics and Navigational Gear:
New Raymarine C120 radar with 48" open array antenna, Raystar 125 GPS with Navionics Gold electronic charts, ST40 Raytheon depth sounder, Sandpiper SL speed/distance log, Raymarine VHF radio model Ray 54, Judson Micro-Sync by Guest, Jabsco 6" search light with helm controls, Ritchie compass (powerdamp plus), ship's bell, Jensen CD stereo - 311X inlcudes speakers, new radar arch lighting and a Kidde dry chemical fire extinguisher.
Electrical System:
3 batteries (new in 2006) with selector switches, a new C-Charger marine battery charger model 9000 series and a 6.5kw Onan generator (238 hours). She has dual 30 amp 110v shore power cables (50 ft), and 12volt DC power.
Deck and Hull Equipment:
Danforth anchor, 8ft of anchor chain, rode, two sets of dock lines, three fenders with storage racks and an Ideal windlass on the bow pulpit with deck controls. She has a radar arch, teak bow pulpit, and swim platform. She has proper navigation lights and a dual horn. Weaver snap davits are installed on the swim platform for easy dinghy handling. Bottom has been regularly painted (most recently spring 2007 launch).
Beautiful Boat! This boat is an excellent example of the very popular Chris Craft 426 Catalina. She has a reputation for sturdy construction and a well-laid out interior. Her exterior was recently Awl-Gripped making her a totally wax-free boat! She has spent her entire life on the Great Lakes with winters stored in heated comfort. Accommodations include a large salon, a full-sized galley, two staterooms with queen-sized berths, two heads, one with a shower and the other with a bathtub/shower combination, there is an enclosed aft deck with new carpet and ample seating. She has a flybridge also with new carpet and seating for five. The electronics are new including radar, gps, and a VHF radio. She is truly in excellent condition - a must see if you are interested in a large comfortable cruising boat!
