1986 Bristol 31.1 "Venture", although built in l986, has been lovingly cared for and, as a result, appears to be much younger. She is rare in that she was constructed with a Keel/Centerboard option, making her an ideal vessel for exploring the more shallow waters found in so many of the cruising grounds along the eastern seaboard. For the past 5 years, her home has been in downeast Maine where she has cruised the Penobscot Bay area, venturing as far as Roque Island. Prior to that, she was kept and sailed on the Chesapeake Bay. She is loaded: Simrad wind speed/direction boat speed package/chart plotter/radar/autopilot interface, Heart charger/inverter, Frigoboat refrigeration (makes ice), 3-burner propane range/oven, teak & stainless transom ladder, new cockpit cushions, dodger and bimini with infill piece, dinghy davits, full bright work, stereo, hot and cold pressure water, Belmar 60 amp generator/smart regulator, CQR and Danforth anchors, boom vang, midship cleats, Elk hide turnbuckle boots, all white canvas, full sail inventory, custom v-berth down comforter and sheet set, teak wine rack, teak dish rack, and much, much more.
