As stated, this Vagabond 47 is a proven "bluewater cruiser", having taken her original owner from the American west coast, down through the Panama Canal, and across "The Pond" to Germany where she served as a live-aboard for over one year. Having found her way back to the west coast, she was purchased by her current owner in Redwood City, CA, sailed down to San Francisco for a time where she was once again utilized as a live-aboard, and finally brought to Southern California, her owner's current residency. The current owner has taken immaculate care of this 47 Vagabond, having just treated and recaulked the teak decks, replacing the main engine, recentlty servicing the generator, and interior of this vessel speaks for itself. This vessel must be seen to be appreciated!Beginning forward is a private stateroom with an off-center double berth to port, which allows for a private computer nook/vanity to the starboard. The main deck has a f'ocsle hatch that leads down to the forward stateroom. Aft of the stateroom is the forward head to port and a large hanging locker to starboard. Now opens the main salon, which has two settees (one L-shaped and one single). The L-shaped settee converts to a double for additional sleeping arranements, while the single functions as a dining settee, as well as a quarter berth. There is a very classy oil lamp above the dining table to add "flavor" to rich interior. The navigation station is also in the arf portion of the main salon. Directly aft of the nav station to starboard is a captain's/watchstander's cabin with private pilot berth and access to the aft head. Aft of the main salon to port is the full galley. The galley has both, in-counter and vertical refrigeration, a 3-burner propane stove w/ oven, built-in microwave oven, double stainless sinks and faucet, and a combo washer/dryer. Aft of the galley is the owner's cabin, with a centerline queen, large lighted hanging locker and strorage, and access to the aft head.Foward Double Berth & StorageForward Head w/Separate Shower StallL-Shaped Salon/Convertable DoubleNavigation StationFull GalleyAft Head w/ Separate Shower StallComputer/Vanity Nook in Fwd StrmHanging Locker - Stbd SideStraight Settee/Dining/Qtr BerthCaptain's/Watchstander's Pilot BerthOwner's Aft Cabin w/Walk-Around Queen

AN ELEGANT LIVE-ABOARD...PLUS A PROVEN BLUEWATER CRUISER!!!The owner of this 47' Vagabond ketch is ready to move on. Having raised a family onboard, this vessel has all the comforts one would hope to find in a live-aboard sailboat. Although she may sleep eight, the forward stateroom and aft master stateroom offer complete privacy for the owner and family or guests, as both of these areas are completely self-contained from the main salon. The main salon is vast and includes two settees; a perfect space for family time or entertaining guests. The large galley may be provisioned generously, making trips to the store few and far between, and parties onboard will not be limited to only appetizers. As a bluewater cruiser, the Vagabond 47 is ready for any body of water. Beginning with her heavy displacement and full-keel, this ketch is at home in a 30+ knot breeze. Furthermore, she has re-enforced rigging, roller furling jib and stayail, an in-mast furling main, and a canvas-covered mizzen. The bow sprit/pulpit has dual anchor rollers, there is a f'ocsle hatch to the forward stateroom, and a solid "dog house" pilothouse protecting the crew in the center cockpit from the harsh elements in a rough sea. Just aft of the nav station is a pilot berth for the captain or watchstanders to rest in between watches.Once again, if "live aboard" and/or "bluewater cruiser" are in your criteria for your next sailing vessel, please call today and schedule an appointment to see this 47' Vagabond, built by Bluewater. The owner has just spent $6,000 on treating and recaulking the teak decks; the engine has been replaced and generator have been maintained to a high standard (see photos), and the interior craftsmanship and woodwork is worth the asking price alone!
