Accomodations:
An absolutely turn-key, 3-cabin bluewater cruising, center cockpit ketch that the current owner has taken immaculate care of! The open detailed deck shines and the brightwork is freshly varnished. All standing and running rigging on this vessel are ready for the new owner to sail her off to paradise, as the new cockpit canvas enclosure protect her crew from the elements.Beginning forward is a roomy V-berth with a large hatch for light and ventilation, There is a large, cedar-lined hanging locker and drawers for storage. Deck and Hull Equipment:
The Pearson 530 is a ketch-rigged, fin-keeled center cockpit sailing vessel. A very open deck, shining from a detail, and brightwork that appears like new. From the bow pulpit, there are dual anchor rollers, a furling jib, a furling staysail, and electric anchor windlass. The standing rigging is heavy grade, the mast has double spreaders w/ lights, and the mainsail is furling as well. The like-new canvas cockpit enclosure looks as nice as it performs to keep out the wind and rain on those not-so-nice days. The aft deck has swivel dinghy davits (by Edson), a rail-mounted Lifesling, a fold-down swim ladder, and a bracket for the 6HP 4-stroke dinghy motor. The mizzen mast has a nice canvas cover for the mizzen sail and houses the radar dome.
