“Kahuna” was commissioned to sail in the Admiral’s Cup & SORC in 1981. World Renowned designer German Frers and Newport Offshore Shipyard built from high grade welded Aluminum T & I beam interior longitudinal and transverse framing and sheeting to Lloyds standards.

"Kahuna" has sailed in the North Atlantic, Fastnet, Sydney-Hobart and many Great Lakes races, winning often. Prince Charles raced on it when they won the Admiral’s Cup. Previously named Volatile, Legend and now "Kahuna", the present owner has kept her in great condition and is turn key ready to race. She’s in the water now in Ashtabula, Ohio
