Accomodations:
V-berth forward encloses with teak cabin door. There is a deep hanging locker to port. Forward cabin ventilation is good with two opening portlights and hatch above. Aft of forward cabin and to port you find a sink with vanity to starboard, a generous head compartment with electric head, and seperate stall shower. Main saloon features port and starboard settees with ampel storage behind and under for the serious long range cruiser. On centerline you will find a large teak drop leaf table. To port there is an aft facing navigation station large enough to spread out charts and navigation gear with comfort. Galley is L-Shaped and at base of companionway to starboard. Across from the galley to port you will find an enclosed aft cabin to sleep two in comfort. It is large enough to feature a drawer and shelf locker and also a stand up dressing area. The cabin sole is teak and holly and this owner for easy maintance has removable carpet cut to fit. Nice curtains and upgraded cushions and fabrics make Velella's interior attractive and comfy for those rainy days or nights at the dock or at anchor. For a vessel her age her interior is very spacious and capable of cruising two couples with equal accomodations in comfort.

Velella is a fresh water Lake Michigan boat that has seen much love and care over the years.
