COMPLETE REFIT IN '05 and '06

"Elation" was designed and fitted out as an around-the-world cruiser that could be single handed, and easliy cruised with two. As it worked out, the owner's wife did not leap at the opportunity, hence "Elation's" cruising has been coastal.but still an unforgettable experience. She sleeps 8 adults. All accoutrments and fittings have been carefully chosen as the best available for cruise compatibility and reliability. The 2005 rebuild completely stripped the interior and the deck house, replacing the balsa coring with rigid foam and carbo fiber at sress points. All electrical and plumbing was replaced to Lloyd's A-1 Standards. All mechanicals were replaced or completely rebuilt. With the exception of the bow pulpit and the stren davits, the boat is bronze fitted. Even the life line stanchions were replaced with custom bronze. Thirty-five years without one blister. "Elation" is a family boat: Comfortable, convenient, safe, and wrld class capable. She has had but one dedicated owner, now nearing his 89th year.
