1978 HATTERAS CONVERTIBLE, 53' DIFFERENT DRUMMER - The appearance of a thoroughbred sportfisherman!

Accomodations:
This beautiful Hatteras model was the industry standard for sport fishing yachts over 50'. Her long foredeck and sweeping sheer combine to present the aggressive appearance of a thorougebred sportfisherman, and her low-freeboard cockpit has never been surpassed for sheer fishability. She features significant updates that include propeller pockets to minimize vibration and improve thrust, increased fuel holding capacity for longer range, and the preferred restyled flybridge design of the later model 53's. She also had spray rails installed (an expensive improvement) for added lift, speed, and a dry ride. DIFFERENT DRUMMER has a light colored teak interior accented with neutral colored Corian countertops. The spacious salon is open and comfortable with leather sofas both port and starboard. The cut down galley is "U" shaped and up, on the same level as the salon allowing a free unobstructed exchange between people in the salon and galley over the breakfast bar that has two stools. This interior provides the vessel with a modern appeal like much newer vessels. The accommodations on the lower deck provide for a master stateroom amidships port with a queen berth. A guest stateroom forward with upper and lower berths positioned on both starboard and port bulkhead (4 berths). The second guest stateroom is to starboard with upper and lower berths. All staterooms have ensuite heads. The master stateroom is amidship port and includes queen berth, ensuite head and shower, night stand, Panasonic TV VCR combo, full length hanging locker, stereo speakers with volume control and intercom. The Guest stateroom located forward includes upper/lower single berths to port and starboard (4 berths). It also includes ensuite head, hanging locker, stereo speakers, and intercom. The Guest stateroom amidship starboard has upper/lower single berths, night stand, and hanging locker. It also includes ensuite head and shower which is also accessible from the companionway. There are stereo speakers with volume control and intercom. The Salon features Leather sofas with under cushion storage both to port and starboard, Mitsubishi 27" color TV, Direct TV Sat TV system with KVH dome, Yamaha stereo receiver, RCA 5-disc CD player, Breakfast bar with two stools, Liquor cabinet and storage, Icemaker (soon to be added), Intercom, Toshiba VCR.
