The generous interior accommodations made the Silverton 28 Sedan a popular boat in the 1970s. Compared with most smaller flybridge designs of her era, the Silverton 28 has a notably low profile and her lines are quite aggressive. She features a surprisingly large open cockpit with stern rails for safety and can accommodate deck chairs for cruising or at the dock and with the 80" stern seat folded down give you plenty of room for fishing.The Bridge has both forward and rear facing seats that can accommodate four adults. Ladder hand rails as well as rails around stern side of bridge provide safety. The helm is in the center of the bridge with VHF and Fishfinder to starboard, compass in front and depth meter to port.There is a sliding door that allows access to the cabin, down 2 steps.

Accomodations:
Through the sliding door from the cockpit or aft deck down 2 steps is the salon. Immediately to port is an enclosed head with electric-flush marine toilet and vanity with sink. There is also a shower. To starboard is the galley which features a 2 burner combi alcohol/electric stove. The galley has a s/s sink also with hot & cold pressure water as does the sink in the vanity. There is a dual voltage refrigerator, ample storage and 3 drawers. Just forward there is a tall hanging locker with a shelf above and lamp. The lower steering station is next forward with storage under the helm seat. To port is a dinette that converts to a berth. Storage is also underneath each seat. Next, stepping down, is the v-berth which features shelves both port & starboard and an opening hatch above with screen for light and ventilation.
