1974 SILVER QUEEN Lazy Daze, This boat is for the handy man who wants the potential of a nice boat which he cannot afford or just does not want to spend the money. This houseboat named Laze Daze does have some good potential but needs a lot of care before she is ready for a family cruise. On the plus side, the boats 351 Ford Cleveland Motor and the Merc Trans 11 Out Drive were in good running condition prior to the boat being dry docked over the past two plus years. The hull appears to be solid and the boat comes with a home made triple axle trailer. In addition, the upper deck has been re-fiber glassed and the gunnel walk way and front decks appear fairly solid. On the negative side, the aft deck is extremely weak and will need to be replaced, the interior which needs a good cleaning, new carpet and a good paint job along with the boats exterior. This is not a turn key boat, but a project for the right individual who is willing to spend the time and a little on materials to have a nice boat one season removed that could be worth two to three times what was spent to recondition the boat.
