One of the most popular production boats ever designed, the Trojan 36 Convertible is an affordable blend of traditional styling, comfortable accommodations, and good all around performance. She was built on an easy-riding modified-V hull with moderate beam, nearly flat after sections, and solid fiberglass construction. The original two-stateroom floor plan featured a mid-level galley opposite the lower helm. The head compartment was redesigned in 1981, with a separate stall shower, and in 1982 a new single stateroom dinette layout became available. Outside, the cockpit is big enough for some light-tackle fishing, and the tournament-style fly bridge provides seating for up to five. A teak cockpit sole was standard through 1976. Up until the last few years of production the standard fuel capacity was 250 gallons. One of the more popular being, twin 360-hp Chryslers will cruise the F-36 Trojan Sedan Convertible at 19 knots and deliver a top speed of around 27-28 knots.
