1971 Donzi GT 21 I've owned this MINT Donzi GT 21 for 20+ years. For the last seven, she's been under a deck off restoration project in which EVERY inch of her hull has been stripped, prepped, re-glassed and re-gel coated. There is literally not one square inch that's been left un touched. I replaced the aft section stringers with new material and substantially strengthened the engine mounting area and added synthetic gussets to the outboard sides of the stringers for the entire length of the hull. A new 52 gallon poly tank has been foamed in and closed cell foam added to the voids in the hull. The deck has been re-cored and re-gelled as well. She also includes a re-finished low profile Donzi black windshield with new smoked plexiglass windows. All of the ball breaking expensive work is done. I simply do not have the time to finish rigging her. You'll need small things like rub-rail, gaskets to seal the plexi windshield, miscellaneous stainless fasteners, (most of which I'll throw in) hose clamps etc. I have all of the original hardware such as hull vents, lift rings etc. They'll need re-chroming. I've built a stout 502 Gen VI engine, detailed below. If you prefer, I'll swap the radical running 502 engine for a smooth idling, fuel injected 1999 454 MAG EFI, 385 HP. I have hundreds of pics of her from the late 80's and the restoration process in the last 7 years. I'm happy to share them with qualified buyers.
