1968 SEAGOING Houseboat, This 50 Sea Going Houseboat named Frannie Joe maybe 40 years old but it compares favorably to boats 15 to 20 years newer. The reason is Frannie Joe has had only three owners and the most recent past owner had spent the last 30 years treating her like a baby. The present owner has had her only a couple of months but for reasons not anticipated at time of purchase he has put her back in the market. Beyond the condition, another great feature is Frannie Joe has been set up to run on either gas or propane fuel. Last season when gas prices soared to $5.00 per gallon Frannie Joe was cruising with propane at $1.30 per gallon. All the decking, hatches, windows and engine compartment are solid with no leaks. In addition, the bottom was re-skinned and cold tarred three years ago. The twin 318 Chryslers engines are mechanically sound as are the Danna Out Drives. Frannie Joe would make an ideal water front condo with one exception and that is if you did not like your neighbor you could untie and move the condo. If you are looking for a comfortable Houseboat to spend quality time on the water Frannie Joe is a must see.
