Deck and Hull Equipment:
This is a steel cargo ship with two masts, stack, large cargo hold with hatch, single diesel engine and rudder, with hydraulic steering. It is a carvel designed hull with enclosed bow area, forward crew's quarters, cargo hold, hydraulic crane unit and aft deck house. The deck house contains the bridge, Captain's cabin, galley area, aft crew's quarters and storage area. There is an engine room and an open stern area that contains both life rafts and rescue boat, complete with emergency 12v DC launching lights.The photographs are from the refit 1n 1999. Since then the vessel has been drydocked and serviced three times.
