Mechanical Equipment:
The motor has been completely rebuilt. The block was line-bored and main and cam bearing journals were resized. The cylinders were bored .060 over and cross hatched. Connecting rods were resized and balanced with new pistons. The crank was resized back to standard and balanced, then machined to accommodate a modern harmonic balancer. New camshaft, lifters, push rods and rockers, drive gears and chain were added. Heads were decked and harden seats installed with new stainless valves and hydral guides and new springs. New inlet manifold with new Edelbrock 550 cfm marine carburator with electric choke.Exhaust manifolds and risor were purchased used, then hot tanked and pressure tested. Raw water pump is bronze and resealed as is the recirculation pump. All hoses are new Goodyear marine and exhaust hoses are new with new copper extensions. All clamps are stainlesss. All ancillaries have been rebuilt, such as starter, alternator, distributor, etc. All hardware o n the engine is stainless and core and freeze plugs are brass. Six drain petcocks have been installed at all low points of the cooling system. A fresh water flush out has been installed aft of the raw water inlet. A new ball cock raw water inlet valve was installed. The oil filter has been changed to a spin-on version.The engine now develops 320 HP and 350 lbs of torque at 4200 rpm's and runs on regular gasoline. The total investment in the drive line alone is over $12,000. This translates to many hours of trouble free running and a fast, fantastic ride.The transmission is a 1:1 Paragon. It has been upgraded to a larger pump and extra clutch plates, a new flange and coupling. There is a new monel shaft, adn new stuffing boxes for both rudder and shaft. The propeller has been rebuilt and repitched to accommodate the extra HP. The strut has a new cutlass bearing.

Electrical System:
The entire wiring harness is hand made. Corrosion resistant wire was used and all terminals are soldered and shrink wrapped. The harness was located and mounted on the port engine bed for accessibility. The harness is wrapped thoughout the boat except behind the dash. New ignition switch with spare keys are included. All switches are Cole Hearse Marine. Two original Taylor Made spot lights are fitted. A new Rule 1500 bilge pump with manual and automatic settings was added. A new bilge blower system was installed . All instruments work and new senders were installed for temperature and oil pressure. An external regulator was recalibrated and relocated behind the dash. All grounding is done through a main bus and there is a power bus behind the dash.

Additional Equipment:
2007 Venture Aluminum bunk trailer, custom built for this boat.It has a fresh water wash out system for the brakes, mag wheels, including spare, and is rated for 3,200#.
