The 48m Standby Rescue Vessel is the ultimate in strength, safety and seaworthiness. It was built originally as a whaler and then later converted to use as a standby rescue vessel. In both modes it was designed to operate during any wind and sea state in northern latitudes in the North Sea and the North Atlantic. It has just completed a major rebuild/refit and is totally updated and fully operational. It is classed by DNV and has fully current and fresh certificates and doesn't require major class survey again until 2013. This vessel could continue in its role as a standby/rescue vessel, be put into other commercial use, function as an expedition vessel or be converted into an explorer yacht.Numerous photos and plans available upon request.Contact Rob Lager at 516-767-0141 for further information.
