Accomodations:
Entry through either the deck companionway on top of the main house, the engine room hatch/ladder or "Booby Hatch" entry in the fo'c'sle. Three large glass ported hatches on top of the house provide ventilation and light. There is also a large butterfly hatch midships with opening windows protected by bronze rods. Fully aft is a stand up engine room, entered from a doorway in the master cabin. Forward of the engine room is the master cabin with sea berths starboard and port, and the main head with on-demand hot water shower. Forward of the master cabin is the head and the navigation station, followed by the main salon, with settees port and starboard that convert to extra berths by raising the backs of the seats and hanging them from the deck beams. The dining table is to starboard, with a bench that can be placed center to seat three on each side. Forward of the main salon is a walkthrough passage with double over and under berth cabins on each side, followed by the galley, with food storage starboard, sink and stove to port. Forward of the galley is the fo'c'sle cabin, with berths port and starboard, and storage below, private head, with the chain storage locker in the bow.

John Alden schooner, plans drawn in 1938, vessel launched in 1946. She is gaff rigged, with double top masts, and has seven sail positions. Nine sails in inventory, eight made or cut since 2000. She has circumnavigated, done the Transpac and currently participates in the Ensenada races. She is constructed of 1 3/4 mahogany over 3 x 3 oak, with a teak structural deck. The spars are made of fir, and the rigging is stainless and bronze.The vessel is currently used as an active adventure charter business (accommodations available for 12). The business and the slip are included in the sale.$60K spent on parts & labor during refit in 2006.Real Estate trade considered.
