"PRICE REDUCED"!!!! Khandro (originally Sir Tom) has undergone a loving restoration, completely restoring and rebuilding facets of her hull and interior. The restoration process was completed in two phases. Over a 15 year period, extensive renovation was done on the hull. She received many new laminated ribs and all ribs are now in excellent condition. Hull construction included new planking, cabin top and deck which includes a 10" mahogany covering board. The cockpit and main bulkhead were rebuilt using genuine mahogany and marine grade plywood.The hull sat in the water at South Haven, Michigan for a season before interior construction began in 2002. Khandro has a newly built custom interior which utilized the original layout with minor modifications. Her hull is fully lined with cypress. White bulkheads of marine grade plywood are trimmed with genuine mahogany. The galley stove and ice box areas were built using mahogany trim and copper surfaces, and refrigeration was added. All new wiring, electronics and engine were installed during this time. In 2003, the rigging was replaced. In 2004, the restoration was completeed with a new bow pulpit and lifelines.
